So much apologies for being the worst unread blogger ever. But I'm in Seattle for Thanksgiving and wanted to share a couple of things.
Laura and I went out to dinner at this place called Pasta Freska on Tuesday. We were the only diners in the entire place since Seattle had just experienced some snow fall, and apparently if there is any snow on the ground the good people of the Seattle area don't like to venture out of their homes.
Moving on. So at Pasta Freska, you sit down and tell the cook some of the things you either like or don't like, and he will cook accordingly. There are no menus, and we sat there for maybe two hours eating something new every ten to fifteen minutes, while taking down a bottle of red wine. It was pretty fantastic. We weren't exactly sure what all it was that we had, since the cook would send out small portions of just about everything, from mussels to stuffed chicken to prawns to steak and followed up by dessert. We both loved it.
Seattle is pretty stinking cool. Going to a wine tasting today, the Seahawks game Sunday, and of course another trip to the market is in store. Happy Holidays everyone!
