I also know that I had made mention of this list of things I'd like to do before I turn 25. I have a lot of goals and aspirations when it comes to my professional life, and in November I was inspired by a couple special friends out in Chicago to create a list of personal goals to do in the next year of my life. My birthday is the 5th of August for those of you concerned with the time horizon of these objectives. So I will share part of this list with you, and by you I mean myself since this again is more of an online journal to catalog periods in my life rather than consistently update the adoring public. I will slowly reveal the list over time as to not "overwhelm" everyone and so I can sort of comment on each one.
1. Attempt every recipe in the Pampered Chef cookbook, "Dinner in Under 29 Minutes."
-I never cook, and got this book for free when I ordered a few things and want to force myself into making meals and being an adult in the kitchen.
2. Go to Lambeau Field (COMPLETED 12/25/2011)
-Packers vs. Bears on Christmas day with my brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. It was amazing to say the least. Glad to have this one checked off.
3. Lose 10 pounds
-I'm far from "unhealthy" but with that damn timeline thing on Facebook I can go back and see my physique during the football years and want to attempt to get back there. So shaving some weight is on the list.
4. Read one book a month (IN PROGRESS)
-I like reading, I certainly don't do it enough and when I do its usually for work or studying for exams. So this is around reading for entertainment. I'm constantly reminded that your success in life is driven by the people you hang out with and the books you read. The book in December was Tina Fey's Bossypants, a super easy read but I loved it as I do anything Tina.
5. Move into a nicer apartment
-Sorry Sun Prairie, your complex isn't considered the pinnacle by any stretch of my active imagination, so moving to someplace more exciting and nicer (a relative term I'm aware) is on the list. Hopefully this Spring with Andrew Nixon, a long time coming.
There is part one of the list, stay tuned for upates and the other four fifths of the list. I'd encourage people to do this as it is really fun and challenging. Otherwise I would just end blogging about the Oscars and watching movies all the time wouldn't I?

I also found it amusing that I didn't put (IN PROGRESS) next to losing weight. The books I'm on now is IV, My Week with Marilyn, and Bringing Down the House and I'm always looking for suggestions on reading material.
